Traffic analytics

Opt-in request, status and latency charts from Traefik.

Enable and view analytics

Traffic analytics is off by default. An operator enables it on the Traefik page; this recreates Traefik once to activate its access log. With analytics off, upgrading to 0.15 leaves proxy configuration unchanged. The Traefik page shows the instance summary, and each service Overview shows its own chart.

What is retained

  • Request counts, status classes and latency grouped by domain and service.
  • Access logs omit client IP, path, query and headers.
  • Minute rollups are kept for 48 hours; hourly rollups for 30 days by default.
  • Traffic summaries are available through the CLI, SDK and generated read-only MCP tools.
